Campaign Name: School Hamper Campaign

Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
  • Campaign: This is a customer reward campaign offering school hampers or shopping vouchers to eligible Furaha customers who use their existing eligible loan limit to pay school fees for more than one child during the Campaign Period.
  • Furaha: Furaha Finserve Uganda Limited.
  • Eligible Customer: A customer on the Furaha platform with an active and eligible School Fees Loan limit.
  • Eligible Transaction: A successful school fees payment transaction made using an existing Furaha loan limit for more than one child during the Campaign Period.
  • Reward: A Referrer will be awarded a shopping voucher for each successful referral.
  • Redeeming: The voucher can be redeemed on https://market.momo.africa/Portal/ at checkout. Enter the voucher code
    into the Promo Code section on the checkout page to redeem your voucher.
Campaign Eligibility

The Campaign is open only to eligible customers on the Furaha platform with an approved and active School Fees Loan limit.

To qualify for the Reward, a customer must successfully use their existing loan limit to pay school fees for more than one child during the Campaign Period.

Customers must be residents of Uganda and at least 18 years old.

Employees of Furaha Finserve Uganda Limited, partner financial institutions, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Campaign.

Campaign Process
  1. Eligible customers shall use their available Furaha School Fees Loan limit to make school fees payments for more than one child.

  2. Only successful and completed loan disbursements and school fees payments made during the Campaign Period shall qualify for the Reward.

  3. No referrals, invitation submissions, or third party sign-ups are required to participate in this Campaign.

  4. Customers who meet the qualification criteria shall be selected and rewarded in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

Qualification for Reward

A Reward is earned when an Eligible Customer:

  • Has an active and eligible Furaha School Fees Loan limit;
  • Successfully uses their existing limit during the Campaign Period; and
  • Pays school fees for more than one child using the same loan facility.
Reward Disbursement

School Hamper rewards shall be issued as a shopping voucher to qualifying customers.

Rewards shall be sent via SMS and/or WhatsApp within 7 (seven) business days after successful verification of the qualifying transaction.

Rewards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and valid only for the intended recipient.

All vouchers must be redeemed within 21 (twenty-one) days from the date of issuance.

Maximum Reward Cap

Each eligible customer may receive a maximum of 1 (one) Reward during the Campaign Period unless otherwise communicated by Furaha.

Furaha reserves the right to limit the number of Rewards issued under the Campaign.

Fraud, Abuse & Disqualification
  1. Any attempt to manipulate the referral process (e.g., fake registrations, multiple accounts, collusion, misrepresentation) will result in the disqualification of both the Referrer and the Referral.
  2. Management reserves the right to audit and verify all referrals.
  3. Decisions on disqualification are final and binding. 
  4. The disqualified party will also be prohibited from future campaigns of a similar nature.
Modification and Termination

Management reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign or these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

In the event of termination, all earned but undisbursed Rewards will be processed within 30 days, subject to eligibility verification.

Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data collected will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection and Privacy Act Cap 97.

By accepting the terms and conditions and participating in this Campaign, you consent to:

  1. the collection, processing, and use of your personal data by Furaha and its third-party agents for purposes of the Campaign; and
  2. The use or display of your name, images, or videos on any online, social media or print publications by Furaha or its third-party agents in relation to the Campaign.
Tax & Liability

Any tax liability arising from the receipt of Rewards is the sole responsibility of the Referrer.

Furaha accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from participation, except for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence.

Force Majeure

Furaha is not liable for delays or failures due to events beyond its reasonable control (e.g., network outages, natural disasters).

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Uganda.

Any disputes shall first be handled through negotiations, failing which, the disputes shall be referred to the courts of Uganda.
